Oman: Takaful Oman in bancatakaful arrangement with Muzn Islamic Banking

Last month, Takaful Oman Insurance Company (Takaful Oman) teamed up with Muzn Islamic Banking, the Islamic banking window of National Bank of Oman, to offer the bank’s customers a wide range of takaful products. The shariah-compliant insurance products are in the areas of family, health and motor takaful including My Health Plus, Takaful Motor and Takaful Elite Life, a comprehensive family takaful plan, also includes complimentary travel coverage.

My Health Plus, specifically designed for females, provides coverage of medical expenses in the event that the insured is diagnosed with one of the gynaecological cancers specified in the insurance policy. Sold to customers aged 18 to 65, the plan also offers coverage for spouses.

Muzn Islamic Banking, set up in 2013, is the first Islamic banking window in Oman. National Bank of Oman, ranked among Oman’s five biggest lenders, has around 60 branches in the sultanate. M
