Acess Meditech Group, a regional InsurTech solutions provider, has completed the rollout of a fully customised ERP system for Boubyan Takaful Insurance in Kuwait.

Developed by Acess Meditech, the system includes LIMRA Core for General Insurance and TOSHFA for Medical Insurance, marking a major milestone in operational excellence and innovation across Kuwait’s insurance industry, the CEO of the InsurTech company, Mr Syed Aijazuddin, told Middle East Insurance Review.

Acess Meditech’s forte lies in delivering ERP platforms for the insurance sector, tailored especially for the Middle East and Asian markets, he said. The InsurTech has a network of regional offices in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait to support clients.

Acess Meditech offers end-to-end ERP solutions, which are comprehensive, highly customisable and designed to enhance efficiency in health, general, and property insurance operations. These platforms leverage AI and core analytics, offering features like dynamic reporting, IFRS 17 compliance, seamless policy issuance, claims processing, and reinsurance management.

Differentiator
Acess Meditech ensures that insurers receive a complete, integrated core system tailored to business requirements, instead of quick delivery of limited modules. Acess Meditech’s systems allow:
  • Automated policy issuance and claims processing
  • Secure, scalable, and feature-rich platforms integrated with biometrics and smart card technology
  • Comprehensive tools for risk management, financial reporting, and customer relationship management
A defining feature is the AI-powered policy search and guidance engine, designed to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insight across policy creation and claims processing. This capability streamlines operations and serves as a valuable training tool, enabling quick onboarding of new staff and  knowledge transfer throughout the organisation.

Project with Boubyan Takaful
Mr Aijazuddin said the project with Boubyan Takaful represents a milestone for Acess Meditech, reflecting its commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions.

Referring to the digital tools provided to Boubyan Takaful, he said, “The implementation brings together advanced capabilities including managing products of all lines of businesses with seamless underwriting workflows, automated policy management, automated claims processing, finance & budgeting, real-time reporting and end-to-end third party integration.”

“Every workflow and business module within the Medical and General ERP system has been developed, integrated, and rigorously tested,” he said.

Mr Aijazuddin said, “The project has been implemented successfully in a very short time.” It was inspired by the motto, “We Work With Perfection”.

The collaboration reflects a shared vision to strengthen Boubyan’s operational capabilities, enhance service delivery, and embrace the future of insurance through intelligent, efficient, and customer-centric solutions. Boubyan’s part of the project is led by its CEO, Mr Ebrahim Alkhuzam.

Mr Aijazuddin added, “The successful go-live of Boubyan Insurance’s Medical and General ERP system is more than a technological achievement — it represents a strategic step toward a future-ready insurance model. For Boubyan, it is a major stride in delivering innovation-driven excellence. For Acess Meditech, it signifies a meaningful expansion into Kuwait, reinforcing its position as a leading InsurTech provider in the MENA region.” M
