The Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (Taqeem) has announced the launch of the "Marjea" Vehicle Price Reference Platform -- a unified national digital platform that provides individuals, insurance companies, government entities and financing institutions, with indicative vehicle prices that reflect changes in the market.
In a statement, Taqeem said that it aims for Marjea to serve as the primary reference for vehicle pricing in the Kingdom, contributing to the unification of pricing benchmarks for the automotive sector. The platform is designed to help beneficiaries make more informed financial decisions, eliminating arbitrary and unjustified price discrepancies.
Taqeem confirmed that Marjea provides indicative prices for both new and used vehicles, relying on artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. Through carefully designed user interfaces, beneficiaries can easily and quickly access the service by entering the vehicle’s serial number or its basic data. This ensures a smooth and transparent valuation experience for all users.
The platform aggregates vehicle data from multiple reliable sources, including government records and actual vehicle information such as mileage, accident history, and ownership records. This data is thoroughly analysed before being presented to users as an instant indicative price.
