Registration for the 22nd edition of Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC) are now open. The SIRC will return this November with the theme "Capacity to Capability". It reflects the industry's focus on deepening expertise and building capabilities to navigate an increasingly interconnected and uncertain risk landscape.
SIRC, organised by the Singapore Reinsurers' Association (SRA), will be held from 1 to 5 November 2026 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore.
SIRC is widely regarded as a key event on the global reinsurance calendar, and brings together reinsurers, insurers, brokers and industry stakeholders from around the world to exchange insights, strengthen partnerships and explore opportunities ahead of the renewal season.
Against a backdrop of geopolitical tensions, economic fragmentation and climate-related risks, SIRC 2026 will examine how the industry can adapt to evolving risk realities while supporting long-term resilience and sustainable progress.
Discussions will also explore alternative risk transfer solutions in addressing protection gaps, as well as the skills, talent and capabilities that will shape the future of the reinsurance workforce.
Following the record-breaking participation at SIRC 2025, this year’s event is set to attract more than 4,200 delegates from across the global reinsurance ecosystem.
SRA Executive Director Jeslyn Tan said, "Capacity remains the foundation of our industry, but today's challenges require more than the ability to absorb risk. As geopolitical uncertainty, evolving protection needs and workforce transformation continue to shape the operating environment, the industry must strengthen its capabilities, develop innovative solutions and invest in talent. The discussions at SIRC 2026 reflect these priorities that will define our industry as we prepare for the future."
