Generali Global Corporate and Commercial (GC&C) has announced that Mr Nuno Antunes will join the company on 20 April, in the context of a planned leadership transition within its Client and Broker Relationship Management (C&BRM) function.
In his new role, Mr Antunes will lead GC&C’s global Client and Broker Relationship Management strategy, with a mandate to further deepen relationships with clients and brokers worldwide and to advance distribution excellence.
His role is also pivotal to the execution of GC&C’s Next Level Plan 2025–27, which places customer centricity, trusted partnerships and sustainable, profitable growth at the heart of its strategy. Mr Antunes will focus on unlocking value across the client and broker ecosystem by leveraging GC&C’s extensive global footprint and strong local market expertise.
His priorities will include strengthening collaboration with both established and emerging broker networks, enhancing the client experience across multinational programmes and supporting GC&C’s strategic growth ambitions across key markets and segments.
Mr Antunes brings more than 20 years of international experience in the insurance sector. Before joining GC&C, he held senior leadership roles at global insurance groups, with responsibilities spanning Europe, the Middle East and Latin America.
On 1 July, Mr Antunes will succeed Mr Filippo Cinelli, currently Head of Client and Broker Relationship Management. Mr Cinelli will retire on June 30 after more than a decade at the helm of the function.
