Algeria: State-owned reinsurer increases its share capital to US$308m

The Central Reinsurance Company (CCR) has announced an increase of its share capital to DZD40bn ($308m) from DZD30bn.
 
This increase is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its financial base and support the development of its activities in the national and international markets, according to the company’s official statement, as reported by the Algeria Press Service.
 
On this occasion, CCR also reaffirms its commitment to consolidating the reinsurance sector in Algeria and to responding efficiently to the needs of insurers as well as the requirements of other economic actors. M
