Lebanon: GlobeMed Lebanon and Libano-Suisse Insurance win health insurance contract covering 125,000+ beneficiaries

Libano-Suisse Insurance and healthcare benefits management company GlobeMed Lebanon have won a tender from the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut (OEAB) to manage health insurance for over 125,000 beneficiaries, including engineers, employees and their families.
OEAB is an entity that protects, regulates and ensures the advancement of the engineering profession in Lebanon.
Under the agreement, signed in February 2025, Libano-Suisse and GlobeMed Lebanon will manage the health insurance scheme for OEAB. Libano-Suisse will provide health insurance services while GlobeMed Lebanon will offer third-party administration services.
The contract, effective from 1 March 2025 to 28 February 2026, was won in a competitive tender exercise, according to a media statement released by GlobeMed Group. The tender results were announced on 24 January 2025 at a public and transparent session attended by prominent insurance and TPA companies in Lebanon.
Libano-Suisse and GlobeMed Lebanon were selected based on their expertise and leadership in the field of health insurance sector as well as for offering competitive prices, the media statement said.
GlobeMed Lebanon general manager Joe Abou Chacra said, “GlobeMed will put at the Order’s disposal its expertise and know-how accumulated over the past three decades in Lebanon, and its innovative systems that will facilitate beneficiaries’ access to health services.” M
