Kuwait Re began operations at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) on 1 April 2026 , the company has announced.
In a statement on its LinkedIn account, Kuwait Re said, “This expansion follows the reinsurer's presence in the Indian insurance market for over 40 years.
“This initiative allows Kuwait Re to strengthen its relations with its Indian partners.”
Founded in 1972, Kuwait Re is a reinsurance company which, in addition to its headquarters in Kuwait, has a presence in Malaysia.
