Turk Reasurans (Turk Re) has appointed Mr Veli Utku Bay as Deputy General Manager responsible for reinsurance acceptances.
The new role took effect in December 2025. In his new role.
Mr Bay, who has over 15 years of experience in reinsurance and insurance, will contribute to strengthening the company's technical capacity and achieving its sustainable growth targets, said Turk Re.
His immediate past position with the reinsurer was that of Domestic Technical Group Manager, in which he managed the company's domestic treaty and facultative underwriting.
