Malakut, a multinational insurance and reinsurance broker, has appointed Mr Sajith Kumar as Chief Commercial Officer, Middle East, based at the company's Dubai headquarters.
In this newly established role, Mr Kumar will be responsible for leading regional sales for the Malakut Group, driving profit growth, and strengthening the company’s service offering across all sectors.
Mr Kumar brings extensive management and sales experience to Malakut, having previously held senior leadership roles. His international career spans India, Kuwait, Oman, and the UAE, including positions such as CEO of Marsh Oman, MD and Deputy CEO of Marsh UAE, and, most recently, MD and CEO of Howden UAE.
