Dubai-based EIRS (ETG Insurance Risk Solutions) Network has announced that Epicure Insurance Brokers, a leading licensed insurance broker based in Lagos, has joined as its exclusive member in Nigeria.
Epicure is the first Nigerian addition to the EIRS Network which has plans to expand its reach by onboarding nine additional members by the end of 2025. EIRS already operates in 11 countries on its own.
The partnership with Epicure marks a significant milestone in EIRS's mission to build a robust international alliance of specialist insurance brokers spanning Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
Founded in 2016, Epicure Insurance Brokers delivers tailored risk transfer solutions across critical sectors with a strong focus on commercial and reinsurance broking.
Epicure’s admission to the EIRS Network underscores a strategic vision and dedication to providing world-class risk solutions that are cognisant of local market dynamics. This collaboration empowers Nigerian corporates with unmatched access to specialist insurance markets, combining localised expertise with global insights to meet their complex risk management needs.
Epicure is spearheaded by Ms Oyinpreye Aigbogun, a prominent figure in the insurance sector and a member of the governing board of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB).
On 10 April 2025, EIRS and AU Group, a French global specialist broker in trade credit and political risk insurance, announced the launch of Africa’s first platform dedicated exclusively to trade credit and political risk insurance.
EIRS is the insurance and reinsurance brokerage arm of ETG (Export Trade Group) that has supported African farmers for over 60 years.
