Miami-headquartered managing general agent and coverholder at Lloyd's, XS Global, has boosted its reinsurance capacity with the launch of XS Global (DIFC).
In a statement released last week, XS Global said, “After being granted a full licence to operate within the DIFC, XS Global (DIFC) Limited, regulated by the DFSA, will allow us to offer solutions initially to clients in the Natural Resources sectors including upstream, downstream, power generation, and renewable energy in the EMEA, Asia and Asia Pacific regions.
Adding that the new office enhances its geographical reach, XS Global said that it provides opportunities to deploy reinsurance capacity directly to corporates and retail brokers through expert, locally-based underwriters.
