Gallagher has launched a new cyber risk advisory practice for the Middle East, headed by Mr Sidharth Wahi.
Mr Wahi brings over 20 years of experience spanning insurance, banking, consulting and technology, including leadership roles at HSBC, PwC and Balbix. As an actuary, his expertise encompasses enterprise risk management, quantitative risk modelling and cyber security.
The new practice supports organisations in understanding cyber risk exposure, evaluating the effectiveness of cyber security arrangements and strengthen a firm’s ability to prevent, respond to and recover from cyber incidents. It also helps clients translate technical cyber security risks into business and financial insights around risk mitigations, investment and resilience. It brings insurance capabilities, as well.
Mr Wahi works alongside Gallagher’s existing financial lines and cyber broking team in the Middle East, led by Mr Daniel Miller.
