Everest Group has promoted Mr Stephen Buonpane to the role of Global Head of Construction, within Global Wholesale and Specialty, effective October 2026.
In this newly created role, Mr Buonpane will lead Everest’s global construction business, driving underwriting strategy, market alignment and broker relationships across key markets. He will report to Mr Jason Keen, Executive Vice President and CEO of Everest Global Wholesale and Specialty.
Mr Buonpane currently serves as President of Everest Evolution™, a position he has held since 2024. Before that, he served as Head of Everest’s Casualty Lines and Industry Practices business.
Prior to Everest, he held senior construction and casualty roles at Chubb.
