Salama Takaful Insurance Egypt has entered into a strategic alliance with Al Baraka Bank Egypt.
Under the cooperation protocol agreed upon and signed between the two parties, Salama Takaful Insurance Egypt will provide coverage to small and medium enterprises, particularly insurance related to non-payment risks, according to the news platform Al Mal News.
Salama Takaful Insurance Egypt CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Abdel-Mawla told Al Mal News that his company wants to expand partnerships with the banking sector, thus proactively strengthening its position in the local insurance market.
Mr Abdel-Mawla also said the cooperation protocol is within the framework of a general strategy Salama Takaful Insurance Egypt developed, under which it aims to grow small and medium enterprises by providing appropriate insurance coverage.
