Algeria:4 brokers receive licences

The Algerian Ministry of Finance has issued licences to four new insurance brokers, with the decision published in the Official Gazette.

The licences were granted to three insurance broking companies and one individual. They are Expert Assurances, Leuropeo Africaine de Courtage d'Assurance, Insurance Brorage and Services, as well as Mr Mahdi Benakhlil as a natural person.

These approvals were granted to practice brokerage linked to 26 insurance branches (accident, illnesses, fire, explosion and natural elements, credit, guarantee, various financial losses, insurance linked to investment funds, etc).

According to a list of insurance brokers posted on the website of the National Insurance Council, the entry of the four new brokers takes the total number of insurance brokers in Algeria to 64.
