Chedid Capital education arm teams up with French business school

| 02 Feb 2025

The Corporate Risk Management Institute - L'Académie de la Gouvernance et la Gestion des Risques (CRMI-A2GR), the educational arm of Chedid Capital, has formed a strategic partnership with MBS School of Business, a leading French business school. The collaboration is designed to address the unique risk challenges and economic dynamics of the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region by equipping decision-makers with the tools necessary to manage risk and drive effective governance.

The institute is a prominent provider of risk management courses both globally and in the MEA region under the auspices of Middle East-headquartered Chedid Capital.

This partnership will offer a range of tailored educational programmes, including certificates, diplomas, and executive MBA courses, developed specifically for the MEA market. The programmes will integrate global best practices while addressing regional issues such as governance, risk management, cybersecurity and supply chain continuity—critical areas for the region’s sustainable growth.

Chedid Capital chairman and group CEO Farid Chedid said, “MEA markets are evolving in a complex environment that presents a broad spectrum of risks and opportunities. Beyond GRC (Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance) – which remains a crucial growth pillar – regional priorities are extending to economic stabilisation, climate action, social development, cybersecurity and even supply chain continuity. This complexity, which is unique to the region, requires a tailored approach to resilience planning that we are ready and able to deliver together.”

“Leveraging our extensive expertise and broad training offering, we are proud to be partnering with the MBS School of Business to build a talent pool that is well equipped to answer market needs, aligning local growth strategies with global best practices,” Mr Chedid said.

MBS School of Business dean Bruno Decasse said, “In a volatile and complex environment, risk management and resilience planning have emerged as strategic priorities for MEA enterprises. As an international Grande Ecole (school) with expertise in these critical areas, we hold a responsibility to equip future leaders and decision makers with actionable knowledge in disciplines such as GRC, as well as in other facets impacting their organisations, their economies and their communities.”
