Wafa Life Insurance Egypt, a subsidiary of Wafa Assurance that is one of Morocco's biggest insurers, has launched coverage for corporate clients to expand its operations.
The insurer has formed a partnership with GoodLife Insurance Brokers to offer services to the corporate sector.
This is the second phase of the insurer's development plan, after a first phase dedicated to the successful launch of activities aimed at individuals.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of Wafa Assurance, Wafa Life Insurance Egypt started its life and health operations in 2021. In August 2020, Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority granted Wafa Life Insurance Egypt the license to operate in the life and health long-term insurance branches.
The Wafa group relies on the network of its parent, Attijariwafa Bank, the biggest bank in Morocco with a network in 15 countries across Africa.
