Saudi Reinsurance Company (Saudi Re) has appointed Mr Turki Salman Alsudairy as Chairman of its board of directors for a four-year terms effective from May 2026, said a company disclosure filed with the Saudi Arabia Exchange (Tadawul).
The disclosure followed the receipt of a no-objection statement from the Insurance Authority.
Saudi Re also announced the appointment of Mr Talal Abdulaziz Al-Shumaisi, an independent board member, as Vice-Chairman of the board for the same four-year term.
Mr Alsudairy joined the board of Saudi Re in 2023 as Vice Chairman. He chaired the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and served as a member of other board committees.
He also sits on the boards of several prominent corporations, including Rasan, Tania Water, Lightweight Construction Company (SIPOREX) and Alpha Capital.
