The UAE's healthcare and insurance sector has historically demonstrated a high level of resilience due to strong regulatory frameworks, advanced digital infrastructure and well-established healthcare provider networks, according to GlobeMed Gulf Healthcare Solutions CEO Ms Nada Majdalani.
This is even when regional developments can create uncertainty.
From a healthcare administration perspective, maintaining service continuity during times of regional tension depends largely on operational preparedness and close coordination between insurers, third-party administrators (TPAs) and healthcare providers, Ms Majdalani said.
“These foundations enable the sector to respond efficiently and help ensure that patient care and support services remain stable. The UAE health insurance sector has repeatedly shown its ability to adapt and maintain confidence during evolving circumstances,” she added.
GlobeMed Gulf Healthcare Solutions has been the leading healthcare benefits management company since launching its operations in the UAE in 2013.
With over 35 years of experience, GlobeMed Group has a network of franchisees in 12 countries in the ME and Africa, including the UAE, Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Egypt and Nigeria.
