Global reinsurance brokerage Gallagher Re has named Mr Fabrice Jerlin as its new Chairman for the Middle East and Africa.
Mr Chems-Eddine Kassali, Gallagher Re's Regional Director for Middle East and Africa (excluding South Africa) said, in a LinkedIn post, "With more than 33 years of experience in the reinsurance industry, the majority of which he spent with Swiss Re."
He added, "Fabrice brings an exceptional depth of knowledge, leadership and global perspective. His extensive background across markets and cycles, combined with his strategic insight, will be a significant asset as we continue to strengthen our presence across the region."
Mr Jerlin's LinkedIn account indicates that he worked at Swiss Re for nearly 12 years, with his most recent positions being Regional Manager P&C GCC, and Director-pan-African Market Underwriter.
