The Insurance and Social Security Supervisory Authority (ACAPS) of Morocco and the Banking and Financial Supervisory Commission (CSBF) of Madagascar have signed a cooperation agreement, according to a media statement released by ACAPS.

The protocol aims to establish a structured framework for joint coordination in the supervision of insurance and reinsurance activities, based on regular dialogue, the exchange of expertise, and a better mutual understanding of current practices.

Both regulators intend to develop cooperation mechanisms tailored to the common challenges facing the insurance sector, particularly in terms of the financial soundness of operators, risk management, policyholder protection and the adaptation of supervisory frameworks to changing markets and practices.
