The Union of Rental Landlords of Côte d'Ivoire (UBLCI) has launched an insurance scheme aimed at reducing landlord-tenant disputes and covering housing risks.
The scheme, launched on 1 October 2025 in Abidjan, offers multi-risk home and life insurance, in response to persistent difficulties in the management of rental leases, reported Ivorian Press Agency.
This solution aims to secure relationships between landlords and tenants while bringing stability to the rental property sector, explained UBLCI's head of insurance, Mr Jean Claude Trazie.
"Our vision is to build a peaceful and respectful environment where each stakeholder finds their place," he said.
