Jordan:10th Aqaba Conference in May 2025 to have new look

| 17 Sep 2024

The AqabaConf2025, to be held jointly by the Jordan Insurance Federation (JIF) and the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF) is scheduled to take place between 11-14 May 2025.

The 2025 conference will be the 10th edition of the gathering, which was launched in 2008 and continued as a biennial event.

The organising committee of AqabaConf2025 has decided to adopt a new logo and visual identity on the way to establishing the Conference as a global platform, said the JIF in a statement, and also pointed out that changing the conference logo comes shortly after the JIF had changed its logo.

The new logo of the conference reflects the future direction, and includes the rudder of the ship and the sun, in addition to the letters "a" and "c". The steering-wheel symbol refers to leadership and guidance, and the sun symbol refers to the conference being held in the sunny city of Aqaba (Jordan) and reflects innovation and radiance. The letters "a" and "c" symbolise the initials of the words "Aqaba Conference", which enhances the unique identity of the event,” reads the JIF statement.

The conference organising committee is seeking to make it a global platform for exchanging expertise and knowledge in the field of insurance and building on the previous successes achieved by the conference in its nine previous rounds.

The JIF expects the Conference to attract prominent figures, experts, investors, decision-makers and representatives of leading insurance and reinsurance companies in international,  Arab and local markets in May 2025.

The 9th Aqaba Conference, held in 2023, attracted more than 1,200 delegates from 40 Arab and foreign countries in addition to participants from Jordanian insurance companies and other industry stakeholders.
