Jordan: United Nations Development Programme signs MoU with insurance federation

The United Nations Development Programme in Jordan has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Jordan Insurance Federation (JIF) in November 2024, to deliver advanced training of trainers programmes on innovative insurance and risk-financing products in Jordan.

The partnership aims to enhance technical and practical knowledge through tailored training programmes that address local market needs.

In its initial phase, this will include four training courses focused on designing customer-oriented insurance products, building inclusive partnerships, enhancing customer experience through marketing and claims management and developing internal capacities to deliver responsible insurance services. Trainers, under JIF’s guidance, will transfer this knowledge to Jordan’s insurance sector and neighbouring markets through continuous training programmes.
