Asia Captive Conference 2023
7 September 2023, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The Asian Captive Conference will be returning for its sixth year as an in-person event. The conference, which is a collaboration between Labuan International Insurance Association and the Labuan International Business and Financial Centre, is dedicated to the development of self-insurance in the region.
 
Les Rendez-vous de Septembre
9-13 September 2023, Monte Carlo, Monaco
This is the 65th edition of Rendez-vous de Septembre (RVS). Since it first began in 1957, RVS – the largest gathering in the sector – has enabled all players in the insurance and reinsurance market to meet up and hold bilateral discussions ahead of the renewals. 
 
5th Sharm Rendezvous 
Theme: “Insurance Industry - Moving Forward Challenging Obstacles”
17-19 September 2023, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt
Organised by the Insurance Federation of Egypt, this year’s Rendezvous will address various topics of interest to the local, regional and global insurance industry. Areas of discussion will include medical insurance in Egypt and the universal health Insurance law; means of mitigating climate change and Nat CAT risks; strategies for developing a sustainable technological insurance ecosystem and achieving insurance inclusion despite the increased cost of living from the insurer, the reinsurer and the broker’s points of view.
 
IUMI Annual Conference
17-20 September 2023, Edinburgh, United Kingdom
The International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI) Annual Conference once again in 2023 in the UK, this time in Edinburgh. IUMI is unique in the world of marine and transport insurance, providing an essential international forum to discuss and exchange ideas of common interest and protecting and promoting the interests of its membership of national marine insurance associations.
 
Middle East Healthcare Insurance Conference 2023
Theme: “Risk Management Measures in Health Insurance - Mitigating the Impact of Fraud, Abuse and Waste (FAW) on Quality, Pricing & Premium”
24-26 September 2023, Sheraton Oman Hotel, Muscat, Oman
Under the Patronage of the Ministry of Finance, Oman and co-organiser, Capital Market Authority, Oman, Middle East Insurance Review is pleased to bring the annual Middle East Healthcare Insurance Conference back as an in-person event in Muscat, Oman for the fourth year.
 
This year’s event will also host an insightful Oman panel, featuring prominent figures from the main stakeholders from the Oman market both from the government authorities, associations as well as seniors from the Capital Market Authority (CMA), as well as leading insurers and reinsurers from across the region to have a fruitful open discussion around how the industry can mitigate and protect itself.

Dive In 2023 will introduce ‘Dive In to Reverse Mentoring’. The new initiative is aimed at fostering connections between leaders across diverse segments of the Lloyd’s market and individuals at all levels, allowing the sharing of experiences, perspectives and learning to continue after the three-day festival.
 
Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC)
Theme: “(Re)insurance Reset”

The Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC) organised by the Singapore Reinsurers’ Association, has established itself as one of the most important events on the global reinsurance calendar where leading insurers, brokers and reinsurers gather to take stock of the reinsurance market and set the tone for the renewal season while exploring new opportunities for business cooperation. In 2022, the event drew 2000 delegates from around the world, with many industry organisations actively supporting the event as partners, exhibitors, and meeting hosts.
 
28th FAIR Conference & General Assembly
Theme: “Will the Hardening of the Reinsurance Markets Last?”
19-23 November 2023, Abu Dhabi, UAE
FAIR is inviting experts from the industry to share their views on the subject and throw light on the challenges and opportunities from the prevailing hard reinsurance market. The conference aims to support efforts to enhance cooperation between insurance and reinsurance companies in Africa and Asia.
