Reinsurance is a notoriously cyclical business but there seems little doubt that 2020 represented a period of growth for Munich Re – with GWP for P&C reinsurance in Asia, Australasia, Africa and the Middle East growing by over 17% during the year. The reinsurer’s Dr Achim Kassow told us about plans for transforming the business.
