Global broking business, Brokerslink, has added brokers from Mauritania and the Ivory Coast to its network. The two new additions bolster its network which has broking partners and affiliates in 41 countries across the African continent.
The newcomers to the network are Rema Broking and GGA Groupe, announces Brokerslink in a statement.
Mauritanian firm Rema Broking covers a mix of personal and commercial lines, specialising in health, professional liability, transportation, machinery and construction risks. Founded in 2006, it is one of the largest broking firms in the country.
Ivory Coast-based GGA Groupe joins Brokerslink as a specialist broker. GGA is an insurance broker and health expense manager specialising in health risk for nationals and expatriates on the African continent. It is the African leader in local, regional and international health solutions, catering to individuals, SMEs and multinationals with offices in five countries across Africa as well as Lebanon and Paris, France.
Mr François Masson, African regional manager of Brokerslink, added, “Africa is a continent of contrast and opportunity. This is reflected in the insurance landscape with a wide disparity in levels of insurance penetration and adoption. Brokerslink has a significant presence across the continent and is ideally placed to promote the economic benefits of risk transfer. These two new additions to our network enhance our ability to access and support yet more retail and specialist African insurance markets.”
