Fenchurch Faris, a MENA broker with branches across the Middle East, held two workshops in Khartoum, Sudan in February in cooperation with Islamic Insurance Company (Sudan).
The workshops addressed technical issues pertaining to property and financial lines insurance, including bankers blanket bond (BBB), computer crime, professional indemnity and directors & officers. They also addressed the specific challenges applicable to the Sudanese market.
Ms Magda Pastalatzi, Director of Property & Special Risks at Fenchurch Faris, said that the latest workshops followed on the heels of the BBB workshop held in June 2015 for the Sudanese insurance and banking industry. She noted that the latest seminar was a natural evolution which goes hand in hand with Fenchurch Faris’ history, its strong ties with the Sudanese insurance sector and its commitment to further strengthening insurance knowledge and know-how in the market.
