The Moroccan Federation of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (FMSAR) has become a full member of the Global Federation of Insurance Associations (GFIA). FMSAR is the first Arab and the second African organisation, after South Africa, to join the international organisation.
GFIA, established in 2012, is the first formal representative body for the global insurance industry. It represents 40 associations, which account for 87% of world insurance premiums or more than US$4 trillion of total insurance premiums worldwide.
