Qatar: SEIB and Starlink partner Ooredoo to offer iPhone insurance plan
SEIB Insurance and Starlink have partnered with Qatar telecommunications operator Ooredoo in a partnership to offer customers a quick and easy way to safeguard their iPhone screens and avoid extensive repair costs.
 
Customers can get a 12-month screen protection insurance plan for QAR379 ($104) and bring their iPhone device directly to Ooredoo shops to have the screen repaired or replaced.
 
Under the insurance plan, customers can claim twice for repairs, with an additional charge of QAR379 for the first claim and no charge for the second. Customers can also claim once for replacement, with an additional charge of QAR379.
 
The new SEIB Insurance screen protection insurance plan is currently available for iPhone X models and above, with lower-tier plans starting from QAR150 set to be rolled out shortly.
 
Ooredoo director PR Sabah Rabiah Al-Kuwari said, “We know accidents happen and it can be expensive to have screens repaired. We aim to offer complete customer satisfaction, in line with our corporate strategy and this new product meets a prime customer need while offering great value for money and peace of mind.” M 
 
UAE: Bayzat rolls out new health and wellness service offerings

  • Enhanced insurance management
